The Vahn-Tech Series VT-BV-T is an API 6D compliant and monogrammed trunnion mounted ball valve available in standard pipeline soft-seated configuration, as well as specialty metal-seated, high-temperature, acid gas and CO2 configurations. Seats designs can be configured as Single Piston Effect (SPE) and Double Piston Effect (DPE), providing verstatility to suit any application requirement for Double Block & Bleed and Double Isolation & Bleed.

Features & Benefits
- The seat insert for soft seated configuration is made of thermoplastic material with multiple options depending on the actual operating conditions
- Designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of API 607 & API 6FA and to prevent both internal and external leakage in the event of a fire
- Blow-out proof design of the one-piece stem includes a step preventing blow out, even during maintenance operation or incidental cavity pressure rise
- To prevent static sparks – antistatic devices (ball loaded spring/springs) are assembled between stem and ball to permit electric conductivity through all metallic components
- Double Isolation and Bleed (DIB) design, with seat(s) are designed for “Double Piston Effect”, allowing each seat to provide a seal against pressure from a single source in both directions
- Designed to meet the most stringent Low Fugitive Emission requirements; tested to meet ISO-154848 fugitive emission requirements
- Cryogenic ball valves are available in all sizes and pressure classes for operating temperatures from -196°C to +120°C
- Metal seated ball valve design for high temperature and hot gas applications up to 550°C /1022°F
- Special high-pressure, high-temperature O-ring options to withstand rapid gas decompression, commonly referred to as AED (Anti-Explosive Decompression)
