This innovative smart pneumatic control system requires zero pneumatic medium consumption. Therefore, zero gas is emitted during a steady-state operation. PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Natural gas-driven pneumatic controllers are used widely in the oil and gas industry to control the fluid level, temperature, and pressure as part of the production, processing, transmission, and storage of natural gas and petroleum products. Although these devices significantly improve facility efficiency, they emit a small but continuous stream of gas — and represent one of the largest emissions sources of methane from the oil and gas industry.

The Flowserve Logix Zero-Bleed automation package is a comprehensive solution designed to help eliminate emissions in accordance to industry regulations governing steady-state bleed from pneumatic devices. The Logix 3800zb control unit, which serves as the heart of the Zero Bleed Automation Package, brings simplicity and effectiveness to process control. Based on the Logix 3800 Smart Digital Positioner, it enables operators to comply with environmental regulations while also securing the benefits of smart technology. It leverages the advanced features of the Logix 3800 Smart Digital Positioner and integrates a zero-bleed system to achieve emissions reduction during steady-state positioning. It works with solenoid valve technology to ensure zero-bleed, steady-state operation and provides benefits including a quick-calibration button, auto-tuning functionality, and powerful diagnostics.
