  • The DrainFlow Series 051000 valve is typically used for on-off bottom drain tank applications, where flushing or fluid transfer is necessary. The valve mounts flush to the tank with a plug extending into the tank and with the seat ring flush with the inner wall of the tank. The valve’s compact, lightweight design is ideal for in-line maintenance under the tank. It can be specified with either a 45° or 60° outlet angle. Other options include bellows seal, normalising fins, a special pocketfree body, steam jacketing or a plug that retracts into the body (as opposed to the standard design with an extending plug). The tank flush valve can also be supplied as a control valve.

    Barstock Body
  • The MaxFlo 4 is a high-performance eccentric rotary plug control valve. The flow path is unobstructed by the shaft, allowing higher capacity for a given valve size. This noncrossover shaft design also eliminates shaft damage from erosive process fluids. The shaft is designed per ASME B16.34 Section 6.5 to prevent the stem from being removed while the valve is under pressure for increased safety.

  • Multi-Z valves are used if solids are entrained in the medium and if there is a possibility of cavitation forming. In addition this multiple stage valve is capable of reducing high-pressure differentials via a multiple stage relief process. Flowserve reduces pressure via division in partitions, a course which is different to that pursued by other suppliers. The major advantage is a noticeable reduction in wear combined with an extremely low-noise control valve. Likewise deviating from conventional procedures, in order to avoid cavitation a physically optimized technology has been implemented that achieves significantly better results.

  • Valbart designed the Trunnion Mounted Control Ball Valve (TMCBV) to operate at high pressures while minimizing the torque needed to operate the valve. The spring-loaded, process energized seats offer tight (Class IV and Class V) shutoff at any pressure. In most cases, the TMCBV's capacity is greater than that of a comparable globe valve. This allows the customer to use a smaller, lighter valve and experience cascading savings. This valve also requires a smaller, less expensive actuator and less expensive pipe supports.
